Is a herbaceous plant of the semitempladas regions that is cultivated for alimentary purposes. Due to the many varieties that exist and to their growing cultivation in greenhouses, it can be consumed throughout the year. It is usually taken raw, as an ingredient in salads and other dishes, but certain varieties, especially those of Chinese origin, have a more robust texture and therefore are cooked.Plant with pivotal and branched root of about 25 cm
